Kaká, Robinho and now Joe Cole. If the latest report is to be believed, Orlando City SC’s player recruitment ahead of their debut MLS season in 2015 is all about going big.
The Washington Post’s Steven Goff tweeted Friday that Orlando have contacted the former England international and West Ham midfielder after he was released by the English Premier League side earlier in the day.
Orlando City (MLS '15) has approached English MF Joe Cole (56 caps), who was released by West Ham today. 1 of many pursuits

He joins Brazilians Kaká and Robinho, among others, on Orlando’s rumored list of player targets for 2015.
Cole, 32, had just made his return in January 2013 to West Ham, where he came up through their youth ranks, but only played a small role in the last two campaigns. He has 56 caps for England and has also played at Chelsea and Liverpool.
When reached for comment on the report by MLSsoccer.com, an Orlando City spokesperson said it was club policy not to comment on transfer rumors.
